Painter Sofan Chan and Sculptor Rochman Reese
Are
you feeling recharged and renewed after your holiday
season? Did you have an enjoyable Christmas and New
Years?
Now
that the holiday season is drawing to a close, and things
are getting back to normal, we are taking this opportunity
to stage our next exhibition to show you our latest
new Artworks and Sculptures that we have been busily
creating over this last year.
It
has been a wonderful year for us, with our biggest change
being watching our beautiful daughter Cassia grow from
a newborn into a strong willed little person.
Becoming parents has definitely changed and expanded
the focus on our Artworks. Sofan has just finished painting
a pair of panels (diptych) called "Cradle of Love"
which expresses her feelings about motherhood. Rochman
has also done a lovely series of sculptures about the
joys of being parents.
Please
join us and bring your friends and family to come and
see our latest inspiring Artworks at our Riverside studio
on Dangar Island. A wide variety of Paintings, Limited
Edition Prints, Sculptures and Sculptural Castings will
be on display. Something for everyone to enjoy.
You
will also be able to view various works in progress
and find out how to be more creative in your own life.
Everyone who comes to this Art Exhibition will be able
to enter our lucky draw to win their choice of $500
worth of Paintings and Sculptures.
Our riverside studio is situated on Dangar Island near
the little fishing village of Brooklyn about one hour
north of the Sydney CBD. Booking is essential as places
are strictly limited on each day.

in northern NSW. Enjoy it.
Thoughts
on Happiness
Is
anybody happier because you passed their way?
Is
anybody happier because you spoke to them today?
Were
you selfish plain and simple as you rushed along your
way?
Or
is someone mighty grateful for a deed you did today?
Can
you say in parting with the day that’s slipping
past
You
helped a single person in the many that you’ve
passed?
Is
a single heart rejoicing over what you did or said?
Or
is someone whose hopes were fading,
Now
with courage looking ahead?
Did
you waste a day or lose it, was it well or poorly spent?
Did
you leave a trail of kindness, or a scar of discontent?
As
you close your eyes in slumber, do you think that God
would say
You
have one more tomorrow for the work you did today.
