I painted this series of Mother and Child, Father and child and family paintings as a way of showing and celebrating that special place that children have in our hearts and minds.

It's such a transient stage. It seems all consuming at the time, yet blink and its gone forever.

Our children are like little seeds that we plant in the world. Watered with love and lots of patience and acceptance over time they grow and blossom.
